About Me

My name is Jessica McCoy.  I am an Orton-Gillingham  and Wilson trained Dyslexia Tutor.    When my youngest son was diagnosed with dyslexia, I was blessed to have been trained by his tutors and ever since I have been educating myself on how to help those who learn differently.
I understand that each student has a unique learning style and how difficult it can be to receive the one-on-one support they need in the classroom. I enjoy learning how each student's mind works and catering to the way that they learn.

I primarily use the Wilson Reading Program, but I am not afraid to try other methods.  I also Kendore Learning to teach spelling rules, and Child1st Publications to teach sight words and math vocabulary.  I am committed to the success of my students.
